A Day Full Excitement...Snow and a Christmas Tree all for Claire

We decided to put up our tree last night so when Claire woke up this morning it was all aglow. She didn't care too much about the tree itself but thought the ornaments were pretty tasty. Of course when your daughter is this cute...a photo shoot is in order so I got out the dog treats and posed all the girls. It was hard and lots of saying STAY to all three of them but it turned out pretty good! Then when we looked out the window the snow was coming down!!! It IS begining to look a lot like x-mas. We got some of Claire in the snow too. How fun. She thought the snow was pretty cool, and kept trying to grab at it

My little Explorer

Here are 2 pictures of Claire exploring the world. I was typing an email one morning and hadn't put away these sodas and I look over and she climbed on top of them and was soooo proud of herself. She was just laughing and carrying on. It was pretty funny. The other one I took her outside to take a picture of her in her tights and she wouldn't even look at me because everything else was sooo interesting. She is so much fun.

Claire's First Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures from Claire's first Thanksgiving. We spent the day in Syracuse, NY. My grandfather passed away this June and we all wanted to spend one more holiday at his house before it is sold. Claire did great on the plane and loved spending time with her Uncle Andy and Uncle Jeff and her Grandpa!

Look at my new Hat

Megan's mom has learned a style of knitting and made Claire this adorable hat. She thought it was pretty cool. I just threw it on her while she was eatting lunch because it had just come in the mail. Thanks Nana

Our little lady

I was asked to put some Halloween pictures of our little lady on here. She looked so cute. I just wanted to put her in with all the flowers and snap away. Too bad it was pouring down rain! We did go trick or treating with umbrella in hand. It was a great first halloween.

Ruff Ruff

Our little explorer has discovered the dogs bowls! It has become her favorite place to sneak to when nobody is watching. I can't really figure out what parents with little ones and dogs do??? I Guess somebody has to suffer, either the dogs or the baby. I think I will move them into the laundry room. This decision came after I found Claire eatting Lacey's food. I guess she thought it had more "texture" than the jarred variety I give her.

The leaves here are beautiful!!! That is one thing I don't miss about Texas. The trees are changing and are turning every color of the rainbow. Well, maybe not purple...but red, orange, yellow. We attempted to use our tripod technique to take some family pictures. It was more difficult than we thought because there was no one to get Claire to look at the camera. These were taken in a neighbors yard. We would try and make her smile and she would just look at us! Oh well. We will try again another day.

Change is good!

Well, after trying to send pictures of Claire to friends and family and hotmail telling me I could only have 50 friends, I thought it was time to intervene. This is my try at Blogging. Hopefully I keep it up to date and everyone who wants can watch Claire grow through the pictures and journal. We miss everyone so respond and let us know how you are doing too! Here goes nothing :)
