As Nate was leaving for work on Monday he noticed that his car had been hit. No note or anything so he went to work and was going to worry about it later. Then he saw the trash truck and decided to stop and see if he did it. As soon as Nate got out of the car the trashman said, "Dude, I didn't hit your car!" Nate wasn't so sure at this point so he asked if he could look around the truck and noticed some red paint (same as nate's car) on his back tire and everything else added up. Needless to say, he did hit Nate's car. Then the trash company said they would just give us a check for $500. But I don't know if you can tell by the picture but it is dented, scratched and even cut. I doubt that will cover it. I am waiting to see if the insurance company calls me. How crazy!! What if Nate hadn't stopped!!!

OHHHHH!!! That is so awful!! Last year Josh watched our neighbor back into our car in the exact same spot as y'alls, and when he went outside and asked him about it he pretended he didn't know what he was talking about! But his insurance paid for it, so it was OK. I'm sure your insurance will cover it, and at least you have some money for the deductable!!
Good grief! That is absolutely ridiculous! I am cracking up!!! Dude I didn't hit your car??? I bet the guy was freaking out! Hope all that works out! When are you guys coming out this way again?
